had to laugh at myself earlier. ever done anything a certain way only to find the most obvious way of doing something is the best?
well today i was making a recipe for stuffed peppers using sweetcorn. well the way i get corn off the cob is to stand it on end and use a knife, as usual the corn not only goes on the chopping board but everywhere else as well. so i thought to myself maybe i should stand it in a bowl and so it will catch the sweetcorn, well as i was about to do that i put the corn down horizontally on the chopping board, then it hit me, that is the way i should be doing it from the start, so i take my knife and start cutting, and yes, the corn stays on the chopping board and doesn't fly everywhere :D its took me this long to figure this out

I've read, the day (time period) you want to stop creating is the day(time period) you die (or start dying).

Great idea - thanks! I've been using the "on end in a bowl" option all this time without ever thinking of that!
