Hey everyone!!

I was just wondering if there are people here who are using some sort of program to track their vitamin/nutrient levels (to make sure everything is in tip-top shape). I'm currently looking for a program that I can do this kind of thing with, but I'm not sure where to look or which one I should choose.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Inexpensive is good, free is better!!

Thanks so much!!
Jen :)

I'm curious as to how you'll know what you personally need? It's all just guess work seems to me.

Many here use fitday.

Rev is correct - there really is no way of knowing what you need exactly, how much, how little, and when you've had too much, but there's good news...

Fresh fruits and vegetables have been designed to give us the correct amounts of nutrients. We just have to trust the creator and nature to do the work for us.

I use www.fitday.com

It's wonderful for keeping track of things, I was really into using it in the beginning but then I started to trust my body to tell me what it needed.

It's still great to use!

There's one called "nut" which I tried to use, but I couldn't figure it out. I don't bother counting my food - I just make sure I get enough dulse, eat avos or olives when I feel like them (sometimes this week I haven't; I have a cold), eat various colors, and eat greens and fruits.

I trust the creator just fine, but the problem is that the stuff we eat today was manipulated (created) by man. Everything has been cultivated, hybridized, selected, cross-pollinated etc. We are far away from what we would have eaten in the past. Sad!!

just keep in mind that the people who are telling you how much of each vitamin and mineral you need are the same people telling you to eat so many ounces of meat and dairy per day.

we have no idea how much our body needs. dietetics seems to me to be the manipulation of a familiar and convenient system in order to gain immediate or semi-immediate results with little regard for long-term health effects.

...ive been a dietetics major the past 1.5 years, and thats my personal opinion from that experience.

but..if it will put your mind at east, id recommend fitday.
