Hi,
Im curious to know...

has eating raw food changed you as a person, your belief system, your awareness, your spirit?

Do you feel more connected to the Earth and Nature?

Have you released toxic relationships because of it?
Have people abandoned you because of your change?

Have you gained new and more bountiful relationships after adapting a raw food lifestyle?

Besides your health, what is it about YOU that has changed because of going RAW?

And if your inner-self has changed, are these positive or negative changes?
Has your life become BETTER or WORSE?

... and lastly,.... how do/did you avoid becoming annoying to other people when it comes to raving about your new Raw food lifestyle? :D

So far my lifestyle has had no drastic change. I have always been interested in environment and politics, my friends and family support me. The biggest difference has been a TOTAL RELIEF OF DEPRESSION. That has been a near miracle!!!

its made me far more spiritual, far more connected with the earth, and - as my family says - "far weirder" :p

i definitely think its moved me quite a bit left of center. but..turns out im more comfortable here than i was in the middle. i think its helped me/is helping me find myself.

I am more connected with nature most definitely. I feel for the animals. I feel for the fresh produce when it is cooked. I am more in touch with my own body. I have lost a few friendships. It was on the edge (not of my doing) and this just pushed it. Says I'm "wrong" and "obsessed" and i'll leave it at that. I have made many more mature relationships through raw foods. Our spirits seem to connect on a certain level that those that eat cooked cannot possible understand. I'm SLOWLY learning about myself and why I feel the way I do and why I do what I do. It's a SLOW process, but without cooked food my mind and soul aren't as foggy and clogged up. As for getting annoying....let's just say I have to work on that! It's only with my parents though.

OH, and it has me researching and more interested in health and the human body than anyone else my age! Most think I'm weird though!

The first week I went raw, I felt the need to clean everything out. If something was out of place I wanted to put it in its place. I think this had to do with my body cleansing itself. Before raw when I would cook, I never would feel the need to feed people. Now, I am inviting the neighborhood kids over for Rawvolutions "soft tacos", talking to people at the gym about going raw, showing my family that desert doesn't have to feel sinful and can still taste good! Just love now showing people a better way of living and introducing people to foods they never new existed!! LIFE IS GREAT ON RAW!

I'd have to agree with you there! Although the raw food for me came about partly due to food allergies.

i am noticing...
a different kind of curiosity
healthy skepticism (i hope)
a tad defensive---son says, "I'd rather live ten less years and eat whatever I want" like that's even what this is all about.
colors as well as details are more vibrant---i mean it!
something in my lower abdomen occasionally "hums or vibrates" ---again is this weird or what?
i "see" intention clearer than ever before
the sun has never felt better to me
heightened gratitude for the abundance we are all surrounded by

yes, it's safe for me to say that I am evolving continually!

No.

You can probably say I changed (my beliefs), and raw food came into my life. Not vice versa.

I didn't see any radical changes when I started going more towards raw.

But when I started my project 30-day juice fast (I'm now on Day 10) - that's when it hit. I am doing the fast for vanity/health reasons. What I was NOT expecting were the changes emotionally and spiritually. It's very interesting.

I do find that I'm calmer and not as easily upset - in fact, I've not been upset over anything since I began this.

Spiritually, it's been profound. I've noticed that there's no mention about individual spiritual situations - I think it's better that way. When someone commits to fasting and experiences these situations, it's better that they don't know what to expect. I believe "suggestion" to the mind is very powerful so if people learned what previous fasters had been through, they may subconciously try to recreate it.

yes, it's safe for me to say that I am evolving continually!YES! i actually opted to go for a run today in 30 degree weather while it was SNOWING just because i wanted to "feel" the snow..wanted to experience the snow. i didnt even bring my mp3 player..i cant remember the last time i exercised without it! for me, raw too is helping me to continually evolve. well said :)

has eating raw food changed you as a person, your belief system, your awareness, your spirit?
*********************
I believe that I was in a state of awareness, and that is what brought me to raw foods, not the other way around.
*********************

Do you feel more connected to the Earth and Nature?
**********************
No, I was always connected.
**********************

Have you released toxic relationships because of it?
Have people abandoned you because of your change?
*********************
YES, and YES.
*********************

Have you gained new and more bountiful relationships after adapting a raw food lifestyle?
*********************
YES, although they aren't necessarily raw, they are bliss filled relationships
*********************

Besides your health, what is it about YOU that has changed because of going RAW?
*********************
I love myself, I am more confident, I like being me.
*********************

And if your inner-self has changed, are these positive or negative changes?
Has your life become BETTER or WORSE?
*********************
My inner self has become more "me" and my life is a gazillion percent better.
*********************

... and lastly,.... how do/did you avoid becoming annoying to other people when it comes to raving about your new Raw food lifestyle
*********************
I haven't, I'm sure I annoy the heck out of my friends, LOL

has eating raw food changed you as a person, your belief system, your awareness, your spirit?
It hasn't changed me as a person, however it has taken an ill, pessimistic, pained spirit and helped it to heal :)

Do you feel more connected to the Earth and Nature?
Definitely! It's like my senses are sharpened, I'm more able to inhale the fragrance of flowers and appreciate the purrs of my cats

Have you released toxic relationships because of it?
Yes. I have found that I have the control in my life to accept or deny anything toxic, including people.

Have people abandoned you because of your change?
I wouldn't call it abandoned, but a few of my friends don't invite me to dinner anymore because they don't know where I "can eat" lol

Have you gained new and more bountiful relationships after adapting a raw food lifestyle?
I really have. The people on this board touch me deeply, and I have found that my new optimism and enthusiasm have helped me to deepen my relationships with friends and most importantly with my family and my sweetheart.

Besides your health, what is it about YOU that has changed because of going RAW?
My spirituality has sharpened. I am now what I consider a happy person, full of hope and vim and vigor for the future!!!!

And if your inner-self has changed, are these positive or negative changes?
POSITIVE!!!!!!!

Has your life become BETTER or WORSE?
BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

... and lastly,.... how do/did you avoid becoming annoying to other people when it comes to raving about your new Raw food lifestyle? :D
If I'm annoying then they can change the subject, but I've found that people are happy to know that I've found a way of eating/life that has helped me heal my body and my mind and my spirit :) Sometimes I even talk them into trying it for a week :D
