Need a little motivation to stay raw? Read October's National Geographic. It doesn't address raw food directly, well I haven't finished reading it, but it talks about all the chemicals we have in us from everytime items that we wouldn't even thing us as being directly harmful--mattresses, cookware, airplanes. I was horrified. I knew we are taking in these things, but I never knew just how much. Eating raw and occasionally fasting is the best way I can think of to help rid ourselves of these dangerous chemicals. It's really really bad.

Hmm from mattresses too? I wonder if I can use that to convince Dh to let me put up a cotton hammock in the bedroom for myself to sleep in rather than the bed!

Yeah, a lot of flame retardants in them. The guy tested was full of them from mattresses and other stuff. I guess in a few years we will not have to worry about going up in flames.

In 1987, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), estimates that everyone alive, carries within their body, at least 700 chemical contaminants!!!
