Does anyone have a chocolate bar recipe? I haven't tried them but these bars on the nfl site have me curious:

http://www.rawfood.com/cgi-bin/order/index.cgi?id=639902422570&d=single&item_id=1110&c=Raw/Organic_Food&sc=Energy_Bars&tc=

I'd much rather make them myself...$6.99 for a 1.8oz bar is a little hard to justify!

"Think Organic" brand has a great chocolate/coconut bar and they run about $1 to $1.50. Very good, all raw & vegan. If you can't come up with a recipe you like, you might want to check these out. They have them at Whole Foods and Bel Air & Raley's stores here in Sacramento - they probably have them in other stores that have natural foods sections.

RPs brownies

1 cup walnuts
1 cup medjool dates (pitted) not soaked
1/4 cup raw cacao or carob

blend in food processor until it holds together, if it doesn't hold together, blend longer

shmoosh down into the bottom of a 9 X 9 pan, (I use a pyrex) and then pop into the freezer or fridge to set, then cut with a knife, I then place them into a baggy and freeze, so I have them when I want them, many just eat them LOL

hope you like them

you can add nuts on top or frosting if you like

I personally add Rawkinlocs cinnamon roll frosting on top as my choice.

"Think Organic" brand has a great chocolate/coconut bar and they run about $1 to $1.50. Very good, all raw & vegan. These aren't 100% raw. None of the pre-packaged chocolate bars you can buy in the health store are. The cocoa is processed. I found it didn't taste at all like chocolate anyhow.
