making tahini? I bought one because I've read on here that some people (I think allison was on of them) that makes tahini using their coffee grinder. I got one from walmart, but when i opened the instructions it said that it only does best with hard things like nuts, coffee beans (of course), etc. but not with others and sesame seeds was one of them. Has anyone made tahini in their food processor? If so how? I was thinking about returning the coffee grinder if i really do not need it. Thanks for the info!!

I haven't made tahini grinding sesame seeds in coffee grinder, but they are great for grinding all the other nuts I have tried, almond, walnut, pine nut, etc.

I have found that if I take a pint jar and put the blade of the blender and put it on I can make what ever I need with that. Try it, it works very nice.
