HI all,
After doing quite a bit of reading of other people's food intake and comparing that to my own... i wanted to ask for some inputs if maybe i have too much going on??

Please keep in my that I am new and NOT 100% but i think i am going to gear up to be 100% in the near future and i may like to do the challenge starting in January.

here is an idea of my daily food intake:

Breakfast:
bowl of mixed fruits - nectarine, mango, kiwi, apple

-- Or one of the following:
Odwalla Superfood Juice Drink
Sprouted Grain Toast w/ preserve & tea (i usually only have this on the weekends once a week)

Lunch:
Raw Zucchini w/ Tomato, Basil & Garlic & Olive Oil with a small cup of Miso Soup

Snack:
Fistful of mixed nuts or just plain almonds
Carrot sticks

Dinner
Red Pepper & Sundried Tomato Pate with sesame crackers
grilled asparagus w/ olive oil

OR
Raw Walnut Burger from http://www.shazzie.com (made with carrots, mushroom, sundried tomato, onion, walnuts, herbs, spices, & olive oil) on sprouted Grain bread w/ Tomato & lettuce

Snack
2-3 Organic Dark chocolate squares
a few nuts

I drink a lot of water throuough the day as well.. I dont drink coffee and have opted for herbal tea w/out cream or juice.

I am wondering if i am eating too much!????
I feel so satisfied but I am not sure if i will truly lose weight.
It just FEELs like i may not because I am SO satisfied... all the other diets I've done just made me feel so deprived!
I dont want to deny myself my dark chocolate either and since i am not fully ready to go full 100%. i would need to later stock up on cacao nibs

Does this look like i can lose weight here or do i need to decrease my food intake? some peeps i've seen here only eat very simple things.
im just making a transition.

any input on this would be helpful.

thank you!

Did I miss something or is there a severe absence of greens in your diet.

Tweety, how do you feel after eating this each day?

Are you fullfilled? Hungry?

Other things to note:

How are your energy levels?

Your stamina?

Do you get abnormally tired after eating?

How do you feel when you wake up in the morning?

Are your cravings satisfied?

Do you crave more? Or have cravings throughout the day?

There is an absence of greens, however you're on the right track. You'll be 100% in no time!!!!

(I admit I'm not a greens lover either, just keep trying to get more in :) )

Thank you for your replies everyone! :)

Sharon I have answered your questions below:

Are you fullfilled? Hungry?

YES! Very Fulfilled and not hungry as i used to be. i am satisfied and dont get hunger pangs anymore!

How are your energy levels?

Starting to Soar!!!! The other night i started belly dancing again in my home and I could actually feel my energy spiking! it was totally RAWsome :D

Your stamina?

...as in?? a workout? im out of shape physically because i have been recovering from a car accident 4 months ago. but i am starting to notice that my mental sharpness is all there.

Do you get abnormally tired after eating?
After eating raw... no i dont get tired.

How do you feel when you wake up in the morning?

Tired a bit because i havent been getting enough sleep but last night i got better sleep and this morning i was bright-eyed and bushy tailed! :D

Are your cravings satisfied?
Yes.

Do you crave more? Or have cravings throughout the day?
I am finding that I am craving vegetables. i may get a craving for chocolate and nuts... that is what i like about going raw so far... i dont feel like i am guilty for eating my favorite thing... and chocolate and nuts is sooo Gourmet!

Most of my diet lately is consisted of Broccoli, Carrots, zucchini, tomato, avocado, onion, mushroom, garlic, nuts, and fresh herbs like basil and parsley and cilantro and of course.. olive oil.

Wouldnt fresh herbs be also considered as Leafy Greens? ;)
I do see that yes i should start eating more leafy stuff.. i am just enjoying some of the delights that i have found out there that i can make some very hearty meals.
i have no problem eating salad.. but sometimes i like to sink my teeth into something and salads can be kindof messy :p

it just does not feel like i can lose weight eating like this because i am so satisfied.
Believe it or not i used to feel guilty eating Avocadoes because they were so luscious, and now i may still feel like i am indulging when i dip carrrot sticks into my Guacamole :p

Before I went raw I never ate greens and did not realise how important they were so I reckon that in the short term you can go without but you should include them in your long term plans.
Maybe you could start sprouting baby greens and including them in other dishes.
