Can someone tell me what kind of sprouts are the best and tastiest? I don't even know where to start there are so many beans and sprouts, any advice? I would love to have beans again, I haven't had any since being raw..once the beans sprout, do you eat the whole bean and sprout? I would really appreciate any help I can get:)

Hey Angelic - check this WONDERFUL website out:
www.sproutpeople.com
It has info about anything that will sprout. Depending upon your tastes you can choose what you would like to sprout.
I love these folks! Their website is RAWsome! On the left hand side there are links. I forget how many pages of info is there! I refer to this site often...

Have you tried any type of beans or sprouts that you would recommend? I want something for salads, and maybe for hummus too. :)

Well, like I said, depending on your tastes. Alfalfa is an old standard for salads.
Chickpeas (garbanzo) are great for hummus.
Although I made an kick-butt hummus this weekend out of sunflower seeds (not soaked), lemon juice, garlic, and sea salt. I had to add some water to make it spreadable.

Vegan,
Interesting you didn't soak sunflower seeds and still delish that way for your hummus. Now I know on short notice adding water to the seeds and mixture will give me kick-butt hummus. Thanks.
