View Full Version : Juicer pulp and meatloaf sauce recipe - ?'s

Hi,
I have 2 questions. #1 How long will juicer pulp keep in a ziploc in the fridge? I've been saving mine for a couple of days - smells like veggies - so I can make Better Than Beef. #2 Does anybody have recipe for a good sauce for meatloaf? I like the way WF does it but I don't know how they do it. I tried unsuccessfully. It looks like they brush the loaf down with a dark sauce - like a sweetened miso or soy sauce. Then there is a tomatoey sauce on top. Any ideas?

I make a ketchup with dark agave that would taste like it. Dark agave has a molasses taste. Try getting some and adding it to your ketchup recipe.

How about a marinara sauce on the meatloaf? Might give it a little Italian flair, but if you don't like Italian you can always adjust the seasonings, but you'll still have that tomato sauce base...
