I just started juicing today. And it seems like such a waste just to throw all that carrot pulp in the trash. What raw dishes can I put it in? Can I put it in my plants? Feed it to my dogs? I would like to know other than throwing it away what everyone does with their carrot pulp.

Dogs often love carrots, so why not the pulp...give it a try, it's certainly good for them too!
Perhaps dehydrating into carrot burgers...add some ground nuts and spices, I think there's probably a recipe or two floating around here. Go up to the banana and do a search with the word carrot and see what comes up.

-Why not toss it in your salads or use it in your veggie wraps? Make carrot cake for some one else (if that's not precluded in your view).

1) Throw it in your garden (compost heap, if you have one).
2) Blend some nuts an dried fruit, then add the pulp and blend. Makes a delicious carrot cake. You could dehydrate it to make it look more like a cake, if you prefer. Also, you could use cashews and raisins blended with some water (blend cashews and raisins first, then add some water) to make an icing.
3) Make a burger by blending the pulp with some nuts (brazil, hazelnuts, for example), mushroom, and some herbs, as an example. Again, you could dehydrate it, if you wish, but there is no need. You can use the burger paste in lettuce wraps (add to it some cut-up tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum), or as a spread on a pizza (best pizza base I ever made is made from buckwheat, flax seed, carrots and tomatoes).
4) Use it in making a pizza base.

I always put my veggie pulp in my raw crackers. Whenever I make flax or any other kind of crackers, I make sure to juice that day beforehand so I have lots of pulp to add to the cracker mix before dehydrating.

Thanks for telling me that dogs love carrots! I took the pulp and mixed it with some doggie vitamin gravy and he LOOOOVED IT! Now, I wont have to throw out my pulp, and my dog will be healthier! Thanks again for that advice!!!!!

I do one of three things with mine.
I either make it into crackers by adding ground flaxseeds and seasonings.
or
I put it in the compost bin
or
I make carrot bread by mixing it with raisins that have been soaked and blended, vanilla and spices like cinnamon. I dehydrate the slices for about five hours and then enjoy it after it is done.
