Hi,
I am new to this raw food. I have read and prepared to start tomorrow. It has taking me a week to gather all the food and appliances. Is there any advice that someone could give me.
Thank you
P.J.

Welcome P.J.!
You have found a wonderful and supportive place here for your raw jouney! It sounds like you are really prepared.
The things that I have found to be the most helpful have been to keep things pretty simple at first. Find a few recipes that you really like and keep making them, and then add a few things as you go.
Also, it's been really important for me to be prepared each day - have the food I need for the day prepared to take with me (I work outside the home) or have ample food at home to prepare good meals.
Otherwise, keep hanging out here on the boards. Lots of people here have great recipes, can share various experiences of going raw - whether dealing with detox or health issues or losing weight.
Your in the right place!!
Congratulations. .

Welcome!
I would give you the same advice as Karen.
The first weeks are the hardest and then it gets easier, you will see your body change and will feel much better and that will motivate you to keep going. :p

Welcome! You have come to the right place for support. I would continue to read and research...this site has a search engine too so you can search the boards.
Best wishes on your raw journey!

Sounds like you have a very good start. Welcome here.
Welcome P.J we're glad to have you here, you'll find so much information and support here.
Any advice would be when trying recipe's, only make up half in case you don't like it.
(I can't take credit for that one, someone gave it when I was beginning and I thought it was so valuable, I've always stuck to it)

Welcome, PJ. Karen and SamL have given good advice. I'd also suggest that you read all the raw books you can find. I'm looking forward to seeing you pop up on different threads here. Everyone is very warm - you've found the best place to start your journey! :)
