I heard about this fabulous recipe, cannoli, taught at The Plant in Brooklyn. Not sure other than NY of a Brooklyn. Kristin, believe name is, teaches the class. Boy would I love it since I am not near Brooklyn regardless of where it is. Thanks.

Bowie,
I think it is this girl's original recipe. Thanks for posssibility. I wonder if Brooklyn is in UK as I looked online for The Plant and can't find any phone number even unless it was late and I passed it by.

How do you make cannoli shells raw? And shape them like that?

I wish I was in NY. I want to take those classes, I'm so jealous! I hope that Kristin comes out with her own recipe book. Looking at some of those dishes they teach in the classes, I don't know how they do it! That chili looks amazing!

Mildred,
Thanks. I did find it but not thinking it was the same place, I appreciate your confirmation. Have you ever been there?

Gosh, maybe Kristin will want to visit us in CO?

Yes, the website pictures are incredible. Pictures sure spoil me!

Anyone got a direct connection with this lady? Just like I need one more recipe, but can't resist more and waiting on the cannoli one at the moment she makes that I heard gets raving reviews! Wish I would have known about her last year when I was in New York for over a week.
carolg....thinking chili sounds good right now....

I go there often, in fact last week I was there for a dinner & David Wolfe lecture. It was AMAZING. Their desserts are always profound, they make a pumkin pie that I cannot describe in words... The plant is owned and operated by Matthew Kenney, he used to run Pure food with Sarma, they also wrote Raw Food, Real World. So the food is top notch as are all the people he has working there.
