:p
I am preparing to start a juice fast. I have a couple quick easy questions that I cannot seem to find the answers to. When juicing, I understand that a person will consume more enzymes and nutrients from the juice when consumed directly after juicing. Am I really supposed to carry my juicer around with me?! No really, How long is vegetable and fruit juice still good after juicing? I would apprecieate any suggestions. Also, what fruits/vegetables should be avoided during a juice fast so the process is not slowed down?

Thanks!

Is this just a plain ol' stupid question? I really don't know.. I would like some guidance, I just don't know where to look. Please, any response would be apprecieated

I'm currently on Day 6 of a proposed 30 day juice fast. Personally, I just juice whatever I feel like and keep track of everything on FitDay.com.

I only have 2-3 glasses (usually only 2) of juice a day so, no, you don't need to carry a juicer around with you. Typically fresh juice must be consumed within 30 minutes for you to receive the optimum benefits.

My staple juices are: orange & blueberry then blend in 2 bananas and a dash of cinnamon. For veg: carrot, celery & 2 cloves of garlic.

The rest of the time I am drinking water with fresh lime squeezed into it or green tea flavored with a little Stevia Plus.

I've done several 3-5 day juice fasts but I've read much on the body really kicking into a new level once you hit week 4 so that's why I'm trying to fulfill 30 days.

I've found tips on these sites:
