I know that normally on raw our digestion becomes more sensitive as time goes on, and that mixing fruits and other foods causes gas. For me, this has happened since almost the beginning of me being raw, so I have avoided combining "incorrectly". I am wondering how many other people get very gasy when consuming fruit with other more fatty foods because so many of these delicious recipes for raw use fruit, or dates as the sweetner! Its funny that it seems like the gas is one thing that would STOP, after becoming raw, instead of coming ON. Thanks guys!

Gas is something that I have suffered from all my life as a vegetarian but I now find that if I add dates to almonds to make almond milk it does not cause me to have gas.
I am assuming that this is the kind of thing that you are asking about.

I find I MUST properly food combine and for the most part "eat fruit alone, or leave it alone !!".

I now use stevia/liquid stevia/vanilla water in recipes instead of fruit if I can.

But I have noticed the incidence of gas is to a lesser degree than the days when I ate the low carb protein bars full of alcohol sugars !

I second that! I used to eat those too, and the alcohol sugars were so horrible to the digestive system. I am so glad to be rid of those! Yea, its frusterating because so many desserts use dates to add a certain consistency, but I don't think that it agrees with me. I'll just continue using my agave! oh well about consistency!
