How you tried e-bay?
I found my convection oven at a local thrift store, it;s metal and when i use it i try to keep it on low so it works for us.
Check these stores out and GoodWill stores also. :)

Want a metal dehydrator, haven't found one online.
When we were doing research we found one by The Sausage Maker Model D10 for around $279.99. I know the company sounds strange but it looks like a real nice one. It is made out of stainless steel with metal racks and there are alternate racks you can buy. I have seen it on EBAY and if you do a search on the internet it will also pop up. I was going to order it until I realized I have an oven the will do dehydrating at a low enough temperture. Also it has 10 racks and is large enough. Cabelas also has a nice one which you can order online or if there is a store near you, you can go in person to check it out. Hope this helps.
