I thought it would be good to share current events where Raw/Living foods and the lifestyle are featured, so here it goes... ;)

Very cool. I know we are open to critism (sp?) from those oh-so-healthy professionals - but who cares? Those who need to see/hear the message, will. I think this is sort of a mars/venus thing. I wouldn't even attempt to explain this woe to a die hard meat eater. But it's great to see it in the mainstream. I live in Tappan, NY and am close enough to Woodstock to be able to visit this restaurant, and I will definitely make the effort. Thanks for the link!!!

Hi Melissa,
If you find out the hours let me know.. We were there last week as I had seen the same message posted on living-foods board..They were closed..Window sign said be back at 11:30. It was after 11:30! Nothing else posted. No days, no hours.. Couldn't tell anything by looking in side other than that is was very small..Also looked for a phone number but that wasn't there either..Needless to say we were disappointed..

I would have been heart broken!!! Where are you located? I work in NYC - I'm sure there are a ton of places right here - but seeing as this is my third day (!!!) of 100% raw, I am just discovering everything. We went to the NY State Fair last weekend - needless to say, I was not exactly non-dairy... but it's over now and I'm READY to do this.
Best wishes,
Melissa

I'm about 45mins away from Woodstock..I was disappointed, but I got over it..Might have been more disappointed if it was open :D Just kidding, but I have been to some that were not that great. It did help that my husband said that he liked what I fixed better..Sweet thing that he is :) so I went home and fixed something out of Alissa's book..altho it is nice to "go out" and eat once in a while..
After I posted I decided to call a new age bookstore that I frequent and ask if they knew if it was still open.. She didn't know for sure but said she knew Barbara and was going to ask. If I get any further info I will let you know..
Know what you mean about the fair we went to a hot air balloon festival recently and smelling the food, grilled hamburger, hot dogs, fries, etc., was making me nauseous. Other than that we had a great time.
Good luck on your raw food journey. It's not always easy but worth it..
