I sweat SO much under my arms...it is gross....I am a female.

I am wondering if there is anything I can do to stop this, obviously naturally. I have been raw since the beginning of the summer.
I used to use that chemical stuff Drysol about a year ago which I stopped, even though it worked SO WELL, because I couldn't stand using such a harmful product---BUT I HATE SWEATING!!
I use regular deodorant and I don't smell (deod. or not).

It effects my clothing choices....END OF STORY!

I have the same problem and I use baby powder in addition to deorderant. I don't know if this will help you but It does seem to make a difference for me. It also seems I sweat more in things that are not cotton. I am interested in what others have to say so thanks for bringing it up.

I'm with you my dear. When I was in 8th grade and puberty really kicked in I started to sweat a lot. It was a nightmare going to school because I always wore colors that wouldn't show sweat. Yikes!!

Over the years and being raw has helped SO much. I don't wear antipersperent EVER, and I can wear most things now. I'm still careful though. Getting accupuncture helped me. It obviously has to do with an imbalance SOMEWHERE, and I'm thinking either my doshas are out or blood sugar. All I know though is raw HELPS A LOT so keep it up!! Drinking way more water too. And i guess in the mean time, stick to black?

Yes:

1) Improve your diet. Eat simpler and lighter. Drink plenty of fresh water when you are not eating.

2) Avoid salt.

3) Get exercise 3-5 times a week where you sweat.

4) Avoid using chemicals on your skin.

5) Do not condemn or try to stop symptomology.

6) Wear natural and breathable fabrics.

-Just my opinions...which I hope are helpful.

well thank you all for your responses. just a note, but i do exercise at least 4 times a week, i do drink LOTS of water, and i do eat ONLY raw food, no condiments, etc.
I will try some baby powder (maybe) or just wait til it goes away, but i'm very pessimistic about both ideas (for me)...

Have you considered essential oils that would offer a scent plus helps draw out the impurities. Washing with grapefuit or lemon peels. The longer you are on raw, the less sweating and BO. :)

I highly recomment Dr, Singha's Mustard Seed Powder Bath. EXCELLENT in drawing out toxins! :)

I have the same problem - but I have come to think that it is really a benefit!

There are many people out there that sweat very little. Sweating is one of our detox systems.

I never use antiperspirants and only very occasionally deodorants.

Other than that I just let it happen.

I do sympathize with your clothing options - I am rarely dressed in anything but black or white - must be tougher being female however!

Not being dis-respectful!

What does sweating have to do with "Raw and Living food discussion" area?

Just wondering!

Warm Blessings,

Pansy :)

well i guess my thought process was that this "raw and living food DISCUSSION" was a general discussion forum on topics revolving around raw and living food and how raw food has people with in general or ANY general topic for that matter.
sorry that it bothered you....or enough to mention it.
