I usually put it in dressings with garlic and agave syrup, then a few herbs, fresh and dried. Very nice :D

Explain. Don't know if you make a dressing with it or you put it in a dressing. If you put it in a dressing, then tell me how do you make the dressing. I have some basil that's been in the fridge for a long time, would be nice to use it.

Basil is perfect for this dressing. All you do is mix together manually in a cup equal amounts of olive oil and apple cider vinegar, then add about half the amount of agave as you did olive oil and apple cider vinegar (i.e. in the proportion 2:2:1) then just sprinkle in a few dried herbs and rip up the basil leaves and chuck them all in. Stir it and voila! A yummy dressing.

Hope this is clearer?

Oh sorry in my first post I mean olive oil not garlic, I now see why you were confused! Silly me.

Ah, I just ran out of honey yesterday, which I substitute agave with, what do I use instead.

Ermm, you don't actually need it for it to taste nice, but if you like the dressing to be a little sweeter then I guess you could put it in a blender with a couple of soaked dates? Im not sure though, I have never tried this.

I just finished eating all the dates the other day. :D

Thanks Seren.

Lol! It will be just as nice without the sweetner :p

Enjoy, and no problem, it was my pleasure.

True scene while exurb was grocery shopping...

exurb has ACV in her groceries

Clerk: "What do you use this for"

exurb: "mostly I use it for making salad dressings"

Clerk: (said with total shock and disbelief) "You can make salad dressing?!"

That is hilarious. Last night the bag boy asked me if I have a bunch of monkeys at home.
