I'm resisting the oh so pretty cookies that the Parents bought from BJs.
They're must be a nice raw-substitute.

That's too bad you don't have her book, because, (I haven't made these yet), but Alissa's description of them is:
"Soft and warm like 'just out of the oven' cookies! They even look like the Toll House brand: chips and all!"
It is truly a wealth of information. I have learned so much...

Please post if you get a recipe that even remotely resembles a choc chip cookie! I'm sure this is one thing I won't be able to give up!!!!! :D

Oooh I've made these, it taste's like cookie dough but (like lots of raw desserts) I can't have too much of it. They're really good, all the same.

Don't worry GoldSplinter, I have her book...but the recipes I have tried aren't my cup o' tea. And also books are very expensive. Go to fromsadtoraw.com for some good recipes. I'm on her board for info on the raw diet...so yeah.

I have Alissa's book and love it!
Whether we have it or not... Alissa has contributed so much to raw food eating... along with this wonderful site. I appreciate having this chance to say... Thanks Alissa! :D
