What kind of dates have you tried & liked? There are more than 20 varieties & I don't know what to get. Thanks so much.

I love their dates! Last year I got bahris and honey dates. Usually, I just ask them what is good, and try what they recommend! Jamie and Anjou are fabulous people.

Let us know how you like them!

They are very different - I asked Jamie to send me a variety and one of them were bread dates which were too dry for me. Another variety was so good, it tasted like caramels, I think it was the honey variety.

So it helps to tell him what kind of date you like - moist, sweet, not sweet, dry, chewy, creamy, etc.

I got their box of "2nds" which is all mixed up, not sure what was what, but it was ALL better than anything I can get at the store!

I think Narz & I agreed that the Bahri's were the best. Smaller and round....very good.

Where are the Date People? I googled and found a bunch of sites about dating people

Pierre- I pulled the Date People's phone number off a different post:

(760) 359-3211

From what I remember, they don't have a web site, although are described as being quite helpful.

A search using the banana might help you to find further information if so desired.

They just created a website recently. I don't remember the website as I'm using someone else's computer right now. When I get home tomorrow, I'll give you the URL.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Hope we'll be able to share more on the varieties when we get our 2006 order.
