Hi - I am Sweet lips,
you mentioned a recipe for a nut loaf mix - do you mind sharing it?
The ingredients are raw nuts, red pepper, onion, garlic, tomato and seasonings. I have all of those ingredients here, but need the measurements.
If anyone has any nut loaf or patty recipes - I would appreciate them - I am back to rawing again, and I do not desire to fall off anymore, so I am working on it today and doing my planning as to not fail.
It is appreciated either way
Thanks and be blessed in your comings and your goings :p

Congrats on "rawing again"...I've kinda fallen off a little myself, but I'm slowly climbing my way back up and spent a great deal of time yesterday mixing up batches of things from Alissa's book so I can have things on hand when those cravings creep up on me!
Anyway, here are a couple of recipes: (the first one is the one I spoke of before)
Nut Loaf: (replacement to meat, meat loaf)
This is so tasty, meatloaf will pale in comparison! Filling too.
-Two cups Nuts (Any combination of one or more or all of these: Brazil Nuts, Almonds, Pecans, Pine Nuts, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Walnuts, Hazelnuts)
-1 Red pepper
-2 cloves Garlic
-2 tablespoons Whole Pine Nuts
Grind vegetables and nuts in Food Processor with S-Blade. Spread Tahini Sauce ontop (2 tablespoons Raw Tahini, juice of 1/2 a lemon juice, 1 teaspoon honey, and 2 cloves garlic)
Taken from Jinjee Taliferno's The Garden Diet book http://www.thegardendiet.com
1 lb. soaked nuts
1 lb. grated carrots
1 chopped onion
1 T. sweetener (honey, banana, raisins)
1 T. oil
1-2 T. poultry (or other) seasoning
2-3 T. nutritional yeast
sea salt to taste
Process in food processor until a firm pate is achieved. If mixture is not thick enough, add dill, dried garlic, dried onion, dried parsley flakes, nutritional yeast, psyllium husk powder, ground flaxseeds.
Form into balls, cutlets, or fillets and sprinkle with a little paprika before serving. If "fishburgers" are desired, add dulse, kelp, or nori to the mixture.
- I got this from the http://www.fromsadtoraw.com website and she got it from the Boutenko family's book, "Raw Family"

Thank you so much - I will be making the first one for dinner tonight, and serving with a mushroom gravy from Nomi Shannons's book Raw Gourmet.
I am really going to work at this - anyother way I am miserable and my health gets ugly and I feel awful.
Be blessed in your comings and goings!
