I've searched on mainstream kitchen store websites, hoping I could just go to bed bath and beyond and buy a spiral slicer today to make a yummy (not)spaghetti dinner tonight. is the only place to get one on the internet? i'd love recommendations for a good brand/model too, if any one has one that works well.

Sorry...hope you find one!

This is the one Alissa sells, it's great, it's out of stock or the website says it is, I'd call her, and ask her, but I'd sure buy this one, as we KNOW it works great if Alissa recommends it and sells it.

I bought mine from Alissa and love it. I believe that some of the kitchen stores have ones that are similar but I am not much help on that. I can recommend Alissa's that is for sure, Rawpriestess posted the link above and I agree with her to give them a call on availability.

I have tried to find one too. The best place to look is on EBAY. You can get one for around $25.00 that will include the shipping. I used a small hand grater to make the noodles and it worked but it was time consuming. But you may want to use that until one can be shipped to you.

I bought mine through Amazon.com for $25. The joyce chen. It got a lot of bad review, but I took a chance and bought it anyway. I love it! I use it two/three times a week for "spaghetti".

if any Canadians are looking for one, try Winners or HomeSense... they often have a decent one for $9.99 . Check out the mandolines while you're there too...
