What are they? How are they used? Are they actually made of yeast? Will they make my Candida worse?

They are yeast, but they are heated to deactivate it so they won't grow in your body.

I didn't realize they were heated. Does this mean they aren't raw?

Nutritional yeast is a bi-product of molasses. It is not raw but is considered a live food. It's loaded with vitamins and the claim is that it will not make yeast problems worse.
