I tried to make it and the mixture stuck so bad after dehydrating it, that I couldn't even scrape it off. Had to soak it first.
I'd like to try again, am I missing something? Should I spray a light coating of oil or something first?
I want to make the swiss cheese today and I'm afraid that it will stick too.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

When it is 3/4 done flip it over. Do this while it is warm. It always works for me so I hope it does for you.
I had that happen to me one time too, such a pain!
another mishap was it dried so well it cracked but was still stuck.
I've since been flipping it and taking it off the teflex when I flip it and it's working out fine.

Thanks for the replys.
I'm not sure I understand, because I tried to flip it a few different times but it was really stuck already.
I guess I'll just have to keep trying!

Flip after 2 or 3 hours and take it off the Teflex and put on a mesh sheet for the rest of the drying.

one thing I found that contributes to leather that sticks badly is spreading it too thin. How thinly did you spread the batter?

WOW the drier it is the easier to take it off the teflex sheet. I think it probably wasn't dry enough.
