As I was clearing out more things in my house, I was reflecting upon my dried goods.

Split peas
Black beans
Blackeyed peas
Speckled butter beans
Pinto beans
White lima beans

Could you tell me if those things have no nutritional value cooked? I will still cook them for my family, but I need to know if cooking them is just wasted effort. This will help me determine if I will even buy them again for my family.

Thanks

They still have value when cooked, otherwise al "cooked eaters" would die
by lack of nutrients, only how much nutrients they have and how much we be used by your body :) is a point of discussion.

** Rawfooders say most nutrients will be less available (destroyed)
and the chemical stuctures will be changed, which causes that the body sees this as strange, "fiendly"stuff.

** "cooked persons" will say that raw food will not be easy digested and that some nutrients will only will be available when cooked

And the discussion will take some time I guess
