I decided to combine Alissa's calzone and pizza recipes and the result was incredible. Don and I agreed it was the best pizza, SAD or Raw, we ever had! Here's what I did:
On Alissa's Easy Crust 1 , I put...
A layer of Cheddar cheesy
A layer of Spinach Dip
Her marinara sauce
Marinated mushrooms, red and yellow peppers
As I had the crust all ready to go, I just popped the 'loaded' pizza in the dehydrator for an hour or so, just to mix the flavors.
Be prepared for a marriage made in heaven!
Enjoy,
Carmella

You can find Alissa's pizza and calzone recipes, along with many mouth watering others at GreenChefs.tv:

And sorry, that one went straight down our hungry mouths so no pic but I'll make a mental note to take one next time!

I am really happy that everyone is actually using the recipes the chefs are giving us. There really are some amazing tasting recipes in that list. Plus with the chefs coming on the show and showing live how to make them really helps I bet. I know it helps me.
I just updated the GreenChefs section on G Living and added a lot of new recipes and a few new shows. We also have a new chef, Sarma Melngailis now on GreenChefs.tv.
Here is a direct link to the new recipes: http://gliving.tv/greenchefs/sarma
Everyone here on this forum should bug Alissa to send in some new recipes...
Enjoy.

Carmella, that sounds SOOO good!
I mean, I "like" raw pizza...but I LOVE the calzone! To combine both recipes like that must really be delicious! :D
I will try your modification...but I think I'll use the calzone crust as the pizza crust as I like that one a lot better for a LOT of different recipes.

Rawkinlocs,
I haven't tried the calzone crust yet, although it looks fabulous. I guess I'm a bit turned off though by the amount of oil going into it. In your opinion, could I reduce the oil or replace it without doing too much damage to the recipe?

I combine Alissa's calzone and pizza recipe too only I make the calzone crust and the pizza topping. I use garlic and oregano instead of the seasonings in the calzone crust recipe. Im spouting buckwheat right now to make pizza tomorrow. I'll try to post a pic soon. I always loved thin crispy pizza and the calzone crust gives me just that! I also make crackers from the same recipe and they are delicious as well.
