I bought some raw oats and tried sprouting them. After several days they showed no signs of tails and were a bit smelly so I thought I must have got some so-called raw oats. I threw them onto the garden and they've grown! So they must have been raw still. Anyway, they now look a bit like wheatgrass. Can I eat them? My juicer can't handle grass. Are there any benefits or should I just admire my green fingers? :)

You could wait until they grow oats and then grind them into a raw cookie or bread mix?

You probably already know they can be used as you would wheatgrass. I've read that Ann Wigmore selected wheatgrass over the others she worked with/tested because her cats preferred it. Have not tried oatgrass yet. Hope you get lots of good ideas for using it, though.
