I did and the biggest change I notice is not being tempted by cooked food AT ALL. It has made all the difference in the world! ~kelley~

Sure! I think everyone does eventually. The difference was that I no longer had irritants hitting my system on a regular basis....and most of my digestive / health problems cleared up pretty quickly.
-However, YOUR pace is what's right for you. I was at 75% for about 1 year....before eliminating cooked dinners! Ha! ha!
-Just my experiences / opinions.

Hi Tombi,
Alissa's story is very inspirational and the book written by Victoria Boutenko
"12 steps to Raw Foods", as alot of information about going 100%.
Hopes this helps,
Pansy

Thanks Pansy. I know Alissa's story well. I tell it a lot. What I am looking for are stories from those of us who post here. I am using truly life testimonies to encourage my clients. I hope no one minds. I am only seeking to find the major differences between 95% and 100%. I personally went 100% and never turned around but many others have not.
MissLinda...Hi honey how ya be! Yes! I remember Tglaso98. He helped me so much with questions I had at the beginning of my journey. Very inspirational testimony.
Greetings LAT...I am having a Rawkin' good time with the Chicago Raw Food Community! I know you are having a ball in the Raw World! Email me!
TheRawDeal...Not being tempted is a big huge hurtle to jump over! Once you get past that puppy you know for sure you are in control!!
David...Hey! Can I ask what type of digestive problems you had?
Thanks everybody!!! Every little bit helps others on their journeys. Keep them coming!!

Hi Tombi,
I've gone from 95% to 100%, and some of the results are a little intangible, but they're certainly there. I'm not even sure I can describe them, but I'll try: I gained a huge leap in clarity of mind since having gone 100% from 95%. Loose ends that have been lying about my house for months suddenly started getting done, seemingly effortlessly on my part. My fearlessness, and willingness to step outside of my comfort zone, has increased dramatically. Suddenly, I'm willing to start dating again, after two months of being 100% raw, after not dating for four years. My career choice has changed. I'm making choices towards happiness rather than power and ambition. My values have changed. My friends are suddenly much more important to me; my relationships have stepped to the forefront. My cooked food cravings have certainly diminished (though they have not gone away). It didn't really change so much for me physically, (i've been high raw for a long time, and I think that really helped) but my whole lifestyle changed. Sorry I don't have anything more concrete, but there ya go...:)

I have been up and down up and down as you can see from my signature. I am doing about 95% right now, but I never feel better then 100%. As soon as I work through a feel issues I have going right now, back to 100% I go. I see a big difference in how I feel for the better when I am 100% rather then 95%

I was 100 percent for the first couple of months of raw...Dec. 05 to Jan. 06. Well, being 95 percent lately is making me realize some things about myself. I am not a good raw foodist on the weekends...I like having vegan cooked foods for dinner on Sat. or Sun. or both...It made me realize that I need to return to 100 percent...which I will do in October.
I'm tired of sitting on the fence in so many areas of my life...At least I can avoid it with diet :) LOL

Wow Lay-Lay your stats are amazing. You can do it! You have done it before! Try thinking that you need to be raw to get through the issues you are going through now and see what happens. Rely on the strength that raw food will give you. If anything you will feel better no matter what is going on! :)
LittleAngelBear you are a good raw foodist everyday of the year. On the weekends you just need to have more raw comfort foods ready for when your mind decides it wants to wander in the cooked direction. Make ya some kale chips or flex crackers. Anything that you can snack yourself through the weekend. If you can make it through two weekends just raw grazin' you can do anything!! :D

I have transitional moments due to lack of preparation and sometimes ignorance.
Anyway on 100% weeks I'm on top of the world spiritually, physically and emotionally. Discernement is high, sleep needs low, Irritabilty nil etc....
Quick weight loss too, when 100%.
When anything less than 100% I open up the door to trouble.
Even Sea salt gets me into trouble.
I also noticed that when I transition away from 100% old symptoms come back quick with a vengance as if I'm allergic to whatever it is I'm consumiing.
This is especially true with salty processed junk, cheese and anything that has concentrated junk sugars and or aspartame.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION is difficult at best for me, even when the memory of past pain ( literally) says I shouldn't I sometimes do and negotiate the exchange.

lifeAGift...I have always admired your self honesty and the fact that you always listen to your body for the answers you need. Keep it up and you will win any battled related to raw that you face.

I went from 100%-95%. I was 100% for 6 months and can definitely tell a there is a huge difference. I felt much more energetic when I was 100%. My mind was more clear and so was my body. While I don't need to lose any more weight, all the weight loss I experienced was mostly while I was 100%. My moods were more consistent, but then again, I have an IUD now, and I KNOW it is affecting me. My goal is to go back to 100% and eventually get the IUD taken out so I can feel absolutely wonderful again. I had no complaints when I was 100%
