Hi everyone,

I'm in BC, Canada and was wondering if you know of any suppliers of raw food equipment (juicers, dehydrators, spiral slicer...) either here or that will ship to Canada? I've come across Rawguru.com but there must be others...

Thanks,
Carmella

Hello Carmella, fellow British Columbian...

Have you checked out: http://www.rawbc.org/

Tara Bianca sends out a raw food newsletter every few weeks and there's plenty of info you may need on there.

Hope you find something local, it's sure cheaper than paying postage from the US!

Here's a guy that sent me my K-tec blender to Ottawa ON -- very fast, honest, efficient -- maybe he has other stuff too (met through e-bay auction). Email is: captogo@excite.com

I donno about anyone else out there, but I couldn't ask for more from my Vitamix blender! It's great. And comes fully loaded with a 7 year warranty!! I think it's worth the cost myself. www.vitamix.com They also sell less expensiver/reconditioned ones on there as well! I have had both good and bad experiences with ebay so it just makes me nervous ordering something that I will need to use everyday off of there. If you use this code: 06-002055 through Vitamix you also get FREE SHIPPING...which is REALLY nice! ($25.00 off). Anyway, good luck in your search!!

Thanks for the tips...

I've just come across a guy in the US that will ship here and has incredible 'just above cost' deals. I'm investigating a bit more and will post his info ASAP.
