When I eat mon-fruit for a while, I feel light and energetic. If I eat salads, I feel heavy, and rather bloated until the salad is completely out of my system. (Usually 36-48 hours, longer than for fruit)
Last night I ate a bunch of shiitake mushrooms, about 4 cups of greens, 3 or so tomatoes, a little shredded carrot, a bit of sprouts, (soy I think, or mung maybe) with some kombucha, lime juice, dulse, and 2 tbs each nutritional yeast, ground flax, and ground sesame seeds, blended into dressing. I drank a 16 oz kombucha with my meal as well.
I had eaten two pineapples for breakfast, but I had an empty stomach when I ate my salad.
About an hour after dinner, I took one Hcl w/ pepsin and 3 plant enzyme capsules.
I still feel heavy, 24 hours later! I've done mono-fruit all day, and quite lightly, too. I'm actually a bit hungry now, but it's after 10 and way too late to eat. I'm just drinking water.
Thoughts?

It may be a combination of things.....

Lack of cellulase enzyme that breaks down the roughage in greens

mono fruit eating is very cleansing and going from that to eating a meal that has a little of everything........btw, how many hours are you eating this after the fruit?
How long have you been mono fruit eating? First thing in the morning?

I don't think it's the salad, but rather the dressing because of the combination of heavy items. Once your body is used to mono eating it won't want that heavy stuff. Have you tried a simple salad of just lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, ect. with lemon juice as a dressing or even plain?

I get that really heavy feeling when I eat heavy things like nuts, avocados, seeds, oils.

I'm just not into veggies without a dressing/dip.
