Has anyone tried eating only one kind of food for the whole week? For example, one week, you ONLY eat nuts, then the next week you only eat LEAFS, then the next week you ONLY eat fruits.

Does anyone do this? And if you do, into what categories do you put them?

And are leafs considered vegetables? Cuz I don't feel like eating broccoli (and the white one) right now.

I wouldn't reccomend doing it on nuts, but I've heard of apple or oranges cleanses where you only eat apples for a few days or a week. If you were doing any fruit for a week that would just be a fruitarian diet. Then again, nuts are considered fruits as well...

Leafy greens are their own category :)

I tried an orange diet cleanse. It lasted one week... then one night I caved and had salad - I despertly wanted greens... and the next day I found it impossible to have orange juice, I wanted anything but orange juice... and went back to eating fruit, veg, nuts and seeds.

Only from a botanical standpoint. When talking about fruits, vegetables, etc. with food combining rules, the terms used are culinary ones, not botanical ones.

Yea, i know, that's true. As far as food combining you're right. Some that say they are fruitarians (or frugivores??) eat nuts as well so...i dunno haha.

im just curious..are you interested in this for a cleanse? for easier digestion?

i cant even imagine the type of bathroom visits youd have if you did a week straight of oranges lol

I do something kinda like that, but everyday.

90% of my diet is comprised of two things: oceangrown wheatgrass juice, and oceangrown sunflower sprouts. The other 10% is raw too, but its just for fun really.

Where do you get your oceangrown stuff from?

How do you get your water? I live in miami, the beach is like 20 miles away or somethin.

And I live in Toronto!

I buy the water from a company called Ocean Solution. It has a presence in Canada, US, and the UK.

Besides, coastal sea water is no good. Environmental pollutants collect there. The stuff I buy is harvested from further out, deeper, and is checked for impurities.

Just Wheatgrass juice and sunflower sprouts?

I'm curious to know what an example of your daily diet would be; the more specific (measurements, etc) the better. Thanks!!
