but has anyone's stomach ever been upset after eating sweet fruit? It seems like sweet fruit seems to make my stomach feel upset lately. Then if I eat things like non-sweet fruits, lettuces, celery, and avocadoes, I feel fine. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.

How are you eating it? I mean after your main meal or before?
Fruit takes 20 minutes to digest. Eating it after other foods, it sits and ferments and causes sounds and noises, and such.

I'm eating monomeals. Like this morning, I had some bananas at around 8:30. I haven't eaten anything since. But my stomach is making sounds and is hurting right now. I can't think of why?

maybe your hungry?

Hi Laylay, I don't think I'm too hungry. My stomach is actually upset and I have tons of gas (too much information - I know). I still don't know why. I ate mono meals all day yesterday, too.

Veganforlife - I'm so glad you said that! I have been thinking the same thing. I've been very tired lately and gained a few pounds. Maybe that's why!! Thanks!

How long have you been raw? I've been for 9 weeks and have experienced very little detoxing. I was vegan for about 2 years prior and vegetarian for about 26 years, so I'm thinking my system was relatively "clean". But Thursday (last week) I got an almost full blown head cold. Woke up Friday - fine. Then Sunday had a sinus headache - I'm thinking it's detoxing that caused me to have those weird symptoms. Did you read the post about the guy that two years later had a detox episode?

Yes, I did read that post about him. I guess it could still happen whenever, although I heard that it does get better. I've been raw since January. I had head cold symptoms for the first week. Then again after about 4 months. Now just this. Oh well, I guess it's better to get that stuff out.
