Has anyone ever been here? Its vegetarian, easily made vegan, and offers two raw food dishes a day.
Just lookin for some feedback :)
I've eaten there about five times (I used to travel to Chi a few times a year on business). But I haven't eaten there since I've been raw. I don't recall seeing raw stuff on the menu. But the cooked vegan stuff was awesome...I have to admit I'd have a hard time resisting it! They have a sloppy joe that's amazing...actually I've never had anything there that wasn't really, really good. There's another cool veggie place in a suburb of Chi called Chowpatti that is run by a family from India. They have a huge menu - something like 23 pages -- with a gigantic variety of stuff.
...and both places sell really cool tee shirts!
My understanding is that the owners of Chicago Diner have recently turned to the Raw side :) and have been increasing their raw offerings. I've not yet eaten there... but I believe Tombi can fill you in on what they've got.
Chowpatti is vegetarian, but not raw :( unless all you want is juice. And they've gotten super rediculously expensive.
