I was just starting to organize my fridge towards 100% raw, and I was wondering what you store your nuts in when in the fridge: plastic or glass? ;)
Glass quart mason jar. The ones that have not been soaked I keep in the same type jars in the cabinet, also seeds, really dry fruit leather, anything that won't spoil.

I keep mine on the freezer, in tupperware type containers. They'll last longer, if you're one who doesn't use the nuts & seeds quickly. Plus, now that I'm not buying all those frozen pizzas and other processed foods, I have tons of room in the freezer. The fridge is usually packed with fruits & veggies.

I am lucky in that I have a health food store and also a grocery store nearby where I can buy as needed. The only thing I usually stock up is macadamias because I buy them in bulk. Those are in a mason jar with plastic one piece top on the counter along with various sprouting stuff. Other than that, the ones I get at the health food store come in nice, thick, reclosable bags. I just leave them in there and don't refrigerate unless for some reason I've bought extra. The health food store keeps them in the freezer so they are always very fresh. I prefer to buy from them, but sometimes they are out and they never seem to have macadamias, brazils or pecans for some reason. I'm sure they would order them for me, but I've never asked.
