Hey great interview!
You did a great job...I was wondering what was going on with Nomi these days. Yes, she's the one with the New Yawk accent.

Sharon - That's a Massachusetts accent - not New York!
Revvell - Thanks again. Another great interview. I don't hear any accent on you. Are folks kidding? Where did you grow up?

Me too! We had a long chat a few days before the actual interview. She leads an interesting life.
Always concerned that someone might come on and give me one word responses. So far, that's not happened. :D

I'd have said New York as well.
Revvell - Thanks again. Another great interview.
You're welcome. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

Guess whether I have an accent or not would depend on where someone is coming from. Other countries and even other parts of our country hear me speak and call it an accent. Dunno. *shrugs* And, does it really matter? The lil fairy loves my accent. Good 'nuf for me!
I would have to say I "grew up" here since I've been here for 36 years. I was born and raised in Ct.

Well, my mom's from Boston and my dad's from NY and I have lived here in NY for 15 years. Nomi says things like "pahk" for park. That's MA.
I like accents. I grew up in Indiana so people here think the absence of any accent is an accent.
I am also contiually perplexed by something accent-wise: My husband is not from the US. When he speaks English everyone thinks his accent is so sexy. When we go to his country and I speak their language, everyone thinks my American accent is hysterical and not sexy at all!! I have always wondered why? LOL!
Anyway, back to Raw food... I thought is was interesting in this interview that she is no longer totally Raw.
Thanks again for providing these interviews for us!

That surprised me as well and I appreciate her honesty in saying so; Jinjee's for saying even though she lives with Storm and waaaaay out there in the mountains, that she still has some challenges. That's actually why I wanted to do them so people can hear how real the "guru's" are.
Thanks again for providing these interviews for us!

You've very welcome. It's my pleasure.

I have an uncle from West Newton, Mass., lived there for over 40 years, and doesn't sound like that. He actually sounds more like a Californite.
Okay, so Nomi's got an East Coast accent! But for some reason I thought she lives in Canada.
People think I'm from New Yawk and I've never lived there, but both my parents are from there so I've picked up a few things.
