Hi...

Was wondering if this makes any diff. If you were to soak the nuts and seeds in filtered tap water, as opposed to bottled water ( does anyone even do that?) does that make any difference at all? if I was to soak and dehydrate, then the water is taken out of the seeds and nuts? I just think about that filtered tap water, getting absorbed into the nuts, and seeds, ruining it even if its filtered Im sure it still has stuff not filtered out of it. Or em I being way to overprotective of my nuts. HA!

;)

You would be amazed at what's in bottled water...

I will use filtered tap water for soaking. I guess it depends on what kind of filter you use and what it will filter?

I would definitely use pure water for soaking. I use distilled water.

I would use distilled , but its to much of a hassle. I never buy bottled distilled, I make my own to drink, but to use to soak and wash seeds nuts, wow hassle. I would be distilling everyday.

Ahh, I don't know then.

I have a Berkeylight which takes out even fluoride from the water. I don't think the Britta's do...I would probably use bottled water, but check the brands and contact the distributor/producer if you can. Many bottled waters are glorified tapwater that they have the audacity to call spring water. Additonally some distilled waters, if they are not filtered after the the distillation process retain all the chemicals that are lighter than water.
