Anyone purchased Dates Online recently?

Im seeking a DATE... Anyone?

Im looking for anyone who has purchased dates recently from online places. I want to buy them in BULK. The date people whom I was recommened are out. Seems like because the new season is coming soon that all the dates I have purchased from Whole Foods always end up being hard, Whereas before the Medjools are always soft and yummy. But I dont want to buy dates online and have them be firm and hard, even though there supposed to be soft. So anyone purchased some good dates recently? No soaking didnt help them.

Also, anyone buy good dried fruit from online places who use low temps if its not available sun dried?

I don't have a source as far as online, but check your local middle eastern stores.

I bought medjools for $4.25 a lb there, or you can get a whole 11 lb box for $45.

They don't have a website, they are at...P. O. Box 808, Niland, California 92257. I cannot find their phone #. The BEST dates! They will ship to you and bill you for your purchase. Maybe you could look up their phone # in information. If I run across it, I'll post it.

Yah, I ordered from Sun about 3 weeks ago and got medjool. They were quite good, better than what I can get locally.

I have contacted The Date People. They told me they will have dates again in October. They are harvesting now and will put you on a list to call when they have some.

I have found that health food stores normally are supplied by The Date People, Jewel Date, and Oasis Dates. Most dates are bought from those companies, so no matter where you purchase them, the source will probably be one of those companies.
