All the stuff I've been eating all summer since going raw is now tasting out of season. The mangos and citrus fruits are just dry and not the way they were a month ago. What is in season now? I know apples and pears, but what else is prime in the fall (I'm in NJ?).
Peace,
Stiletto

OH I hear you! I bought a ton of lemons the other day for my water and they were awful.
It will be interesting to see the transition in seasonal foods :)

I think apples are about ready to come into their season and cool weather crops such as kale, broccoli...
Aren't watermelons in now? And winter squashes will be coming along soon.
I'm in MD

So much is shipped worldwide nowadays, people become confused as to what is in the own coutry's natural season.
I do it myself - though in England, a lot of warm/exotic fruit is shipped in all year or we would never see any of it.
Most soft fruit is shipped in now as its past the strawberry/raspberry season.
I bought imported blueberries today for my smoothies.
