I prefer Hass. Florida avocados are too sweet and watery.

I live in Florida and only started eating Haas when I started eating raw. Used to adore the FL 'cados, but now I am a nut for the Haas. LOL They're delicious!

I've tried Florida, but they're too big and too watery for me. I prefer Hass. I haven't seen a Fuerte lately.

It's Hass. A common mistake. :)

I hate Florida avocados and I LOVE HASS ones.

the Hass has a higher fat content, making it richer and creamier than the others.

i used to buy fuerte but kept getting dissappointed by them not being ripe, or being over ripe. Now i just buy hass. i find they are easier to know when ripe and i love the taste of them.

Well, when I was living with my employer in Florida and had no kitchen facilities - I would go into the yard and pick those Florida avocados - I lived on them - I hate them. I love the Hass, which of course have double the fat and double the carbs. Floridians are sold here in AZ but I won't buy them - even if there is nothing else.

Fuerte is my favorite. Season sadly ended several weeks ago so now enjoying Hass avos. Have not had a FL avo for many many years, so don't really remember them. Have Bacon and Reed in So Cal, though as options.

I buy whatever kind are at the store. I actually have no idea what kind they are. It just says "avocados." I'm not sure if they're Hass or not.

HAAS all the way baby.

That florida variety is sweet and watery, hmm but like someone said might make a great pudding.

I had a huge hybrid looking avo once. It was like a cross between avacado and a melon. Not at all my taste.
