I needed a smidge for one recipe that I want to try, and all they had at the farmer's market were these HUGE stalks of them for $1.99! I mean it's the entire plant, like 4 of them, roots and all. It smells absolutely DELICIOUS in my kitchen...Yum! I just don't know what to do with it, LOL!

And what part of the plant do you eat? Just the leaves? Flowers? Stems? Any recipes that you know of or like with dill?

Hi... I love fresh dill too... I like to add small pieces of sprigs to salads it gives it a nice contrast of flavors with greens. It is great in soups, dips and salad dressings. It might be good in a pate, salsa, or wrap too. :D

(I just use the sprigs for salads and such. If I'm blending it in to something I use the stems too.)
Good even by adding to simple tomato cucumber salad.

Trying to hunt some down for my homemade dill pickles. Also love it in dressings and salads. Use any recipe and just add the dill to blend in.

yum. I throw a big handful of dill into the blender with a peeled cucumber, juice of a lemon, and 1 avocado. It comes out tasting a lot like Indian raita. Very yummy.

Wow, I knew I wouldn't be sorry for buying the whole plant, LOL! I'm eating the best salad ever right now...here's what it is:

http://www.therawtable.com/recipecoll/cucDRESS.htm

I mixed together about 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, 1/2 slicer tomato, 1 medium cucumber cut up in chunks, and about 1/2 cup of sprouted sunflower seeds. REALLY good with the cucumber dressing poured on top!!

Thanks for all the links; I'll have to try them out!
