Raw Modeling Agency

Ok I wouldn't doubt this idea has already been discussed or is in fruition some where. Anyway, it would be sweet to start up a raw modeling agency with vibrant-radiant pictures. I see many beautiful people and pictures with different raw foods, natural backgrounds, sensual-exotic poses (keeping it clean of course), etc... There's so many beautiful people out there and it would be a great way to promote such a healthy life style...

Hey I used to model when I was younger until 6th grade or so when sports took over.. but then again I was a little innocent cutie than.. what happened to me? hahaha...

I still model actually but it's aimed at veganism/ vegan fitness right now. I had never considered raw modeling, but it sounds like a great idea to bring awareness to the lifestyle. :cool:

Having done a bit of modeling myself (um, shall we say "artistic"), I think the raw modeling would be a fantastic idea.

Even way back when when I was 120 pounds and "fit" and "healthy", I wasn't at my prime. I'm nowhere near it now but I see all these wonderful people on here who simply glow with health and vigor.

DEFINITELY interested in learning more if there is such a thing.!!!

Serioudly though, that is a great idea. The whole point of models is to show the world how things "should" be with the human body, the best case scenario. So why don't we all show them how it really should be: Healthy, wholesome, sexy, beautiful, vibrant, radiant, natural and without fakeness, makeup, airbrushing and pain and starvation. We could show them the diversity of our natural body shapes but they'd still be beautiful and true because they are raw!

I'm all for it. Who would start an agency?

I have based my business off of the freewebs.com web-hosting. I do pay for my domain name however we can start this off on the free hosting.

I'm all for it, sharing how raw has changed every single one of us. Not only can we have pictures, we could also have the stories behind it, health improvements, etc. Then visitors could know the meaning behind our raw smiles :D

I'll take some new raw pictures to put up. I want to create a multi-colored pyramid or figure of raw juices with me in it and maybe some lingering raw produce around too... I love all the vibrant colors.... I recently did a 3-day juice fast and feel like I'm growing. Much love to you all.

Wouldn't that be awesome to do a 12 month calendar of someone who has started the raw journey and the results at month12???? Kind of like a calendar--pics,testimony/raw book ???? YOu can see all the monthly changes,get tips each month etc etc???? GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest trying to get in touch with Carol Alt (supermodel) who is raw, although she is not a vegan. She would most likely be an invaluable resource as well as being a poster person for the raw lifestyle - she looks RAWsome!!! Take a look at the cover of her book: Eating in the Raw.

I owned a small modeling agency about 10 years ago. I did mostly Live modeling (ie. macys in new york, bill clinton's saxaphone for charity, Lots of make-up companies). It was alot of fun. I am in if wanted. I also can design websites and have done lots of photography. Nothing professional, but we could all learn together.... If you build it, they will come....

I would be willing to pay for some of the costs for a site and domain.

MissLinda I dig the calendar idea. Someone on eat.rawfood.com has been trying to put one together for sometime.. not sure if that's going to happen. I like the before and after effect.

Keeping the ideas flowing is great. Let's come up with a layout or structure of how we want it too look.. obviously it will be an evolving thing. Like a mission statement or intent, a before and after section, calendar, different themed raw pics, etc.... and then incorporating our lifestyles and/or healthy vibrant ways into the whole.

I'm definitely in. We could call the agency "Raw Beauty" or something and instead of it being about selling clothes of makeup it will be about celebrating true beauty. We could have lots of artistic poses and even have some with us surrounded by fruits and vegetables. Nature shots would be wonderful too. We could all just bring our own clothes and pose in them and have it be a wonderful tangle of all our styles, sort of fused together. It would be beautiful! The website could have a section for each of us who want to pose and be raw models. and oh course, group shots as well.

There are lots of sites to use. I currently have 2 sites I am working on. THe initial cost is about $100 for 1 year with okay bandwith. But as the site grows it will get a alot more pricey! I am willing to pay the first $100 and see where we get!

We will need a name for the site. The layout is the best part. Content of site first - Front page Second. It is always easy to change but hard to get up and running in the beginning.

All celebrating the raw beauty with a raw diet.

Gallery, Store ( for a calender donation to cover costs), Testimonies, Links

Photo submission section...

And to find buyers for Models, photos, on site exhibits, etc. A contact page possibly....

We could do all types of modeling - print, stage, exhibit. Whatever we are interested in....

The first part is funny :D , The second part is true for alot of people unfortunatly. When there's a potential for a new untapped idea to come onto the market, it's like how the sharks will show up with a little of blood in the water - blood is the money here. I have recently myself been through some sharky waters. Make sure you all do your due deligence on who ever and what ever you decide to do . GeT your ideas protected as much as possible. Make sure that you have a great team of people that you working with, make sure you know who's on your team and who's not. Check out your team members background - team members who are with you will have no problem with this, ( safe business). Have fun :D

I've always been told I have such a "natural" smile lol. I am definately not perfect...but if you can have a 15 year old count me in! *excited*

OT maybe: Where's least expensive site for registering a domain name? Should websites have more than the .com extension of add all of them. Wow. I did register a website while back and think it was $8 yr. and now I see at register.com it's almost $6 monthly I think I saw.

raw beauty: My friend's daughters face is on Eating for Beauty. Maybe I can see if my we can get an endorsement perhaps on her diet as she is a real raw beauty.

I'm guessing you could probably use some beautiful food shots for the calendar as well as models? I'm doing a series on abstract fruit and vegetable photos.....I don't have too many uploaded on my art.com gallery yet, but here is what I have so far.........cucumber, grapefruit, lemon, fuyu persimmon, a red grape, and red raspberries (which were taken with a different technique). I also have images of a chile pepper and two peas in a pod, although they are not uploaded yet.
