Does anyone else get so tired of greens, that you find yourself eating mainly nuts and dehydrated foods? Even though every morsel is "raw", you feel lethargic. Then you start eating greens again and start feeling better.

It's like a cycle. It affects my weight, which affects my mood and energy levels. Yet, I still do it. I justify it because I can say "I'm still 100% raw."
And shouldn't all raw foods still make me feel great??

I think deep down inside I feel like I need you all to tell me to get my raw act together. Like the good old days when I first started my journey.

Jeez, Louise, get your raw act together! :) Just joking. I only do nuts and dehydrated foods every once in a while, as a treat, 'cause I definitely feel like they don't give me the energy benefits that fresh fruits & veggies do. The book Fit for Life (and maybe other Natural Hygiene books, too...don't know, haven't read any others) stresses the importance of high-water content foods, and I feel like there's definitely something to that. I get most of my greens in green smoothies. Though I'd bet even the dehydrated stuff DOES make you feel relatively better than, say, a big bowl of SAD mac & cheese. :)

Yeah I second that ! Get it together ( :p how's that ? ) and vary the diet. Eat the greens fruits as staples, vary the types of foods to fight boredom and use the nuts and such as a treat not the base of the diet !

Why not add a lot of fresh fruits?

I'm eating more greens and sprouts and I feel much better, even though I had a brief detox LOL.

It's wild...

Now that I'm not riding my bike and training so hard as much in the off-season, I don't need as dense of food. But, when I do up the training again soon, I'm going to add more fresh fruit to sustain me calorically and still keep plenty of sprouts and green things in my diet.
