I have been walking for 1 hour/4 miles every day on a treadmill at an incline for about 3 weeks, and I have been seeing HUGE differences in my appearance. It is unbelievable, my legs are more toned, celluite is reducing, I have a lot of energy, and my metabollism has shot through the roof. Another great thing is that walking is not hard on your joints. I am 22 and I will be able to do this for the rest of life. I feel like I have found the fountain of youth!
I just had to share with all of you. Try walking an hour a day at a fast pace for 3 weeks and see the difference!

Just wondering: do you have the treadmill at home, or in a sportcentre?

My treadmill has a thick layer of dust on it because I have decided that I should combine my daily dose of walking, fresh air and sunshine all in one little pill.
I am lucky because I have some very steep hills just outside my door so I do not have a problem with incline.
If you can manage to do your walking out of doors it is much better.

I go to college, so I have free access to a gym, which makes it nice.
I do agree that it is best to do your walking outside, (which I do quite a bit by walking from class to class) but I don't have the constant incline that I need to really shape my legs. By the time I am finished, I am dripping sweat, and exhausted, but it feels so good.
I also get to read while I walk, so I feel like I am killing two birds with one stone.
