How do you travel with a blender? I recently purchased a Vitamix and would like to take it with me but it is heavy and cumbersome. Has anyone found a good replacement for travel? Thanks!

There are smaller more portable blenders like Magic Bullet & Tribest. Hand blenders are also good. All are great for simple smoothies, but not for anything too complicated or hard to blend. You can also just get a regular blender which is more lightweight.

There is a set of luggage specifically designed for the vitamix blender by vitamix. It holds 2 containers the machine and has a place to keep fruits and veggies cold.

I have traveled with mine for years and just put it in a small carryon size suit case with padding around it.

The vitamix luggage cost I believe about 160.00 don't quote me on that though. I told my hubby I want it for christmas.

Hi... I have travelled with hand held blenders but, I now take a Hamilton Beach Personal Blender w/ a Travel Lid so you can drink from the container you blend in. It is model #51101. It does smoothies etc. it works well and is small enough to fit in your check-in suitcase. It will fit in a carry-on if needed.

I love my Tribest. It does a great job and has a seed grinder attachment. I bought mine from discountjuicer.com. I also bought a larger blender top and travel bag from the Tribest people.

I leave my VM at home and take the K-Tec and my Citri-Star. Got my fresh o.j. and my green smoozies. :)

I love my Tribest Personal Blender that is very useful, light weight too.

I make my sauces in it mainly.

Vitamix has a special travel case. I got the ad in the mail a few weeks ago.

I really want to get that bag for my Vitamix, but $170 is a little steep. Maybe I'll try that travel blender instead.
