"Raw Food Real Word" This is the book that the chefs from Pure Food and Wine sell. I am not really interested in making all this eloborate food but I really would like to find out how they make the collard lettuce wraps. I know there is mango, carrot and sprouts. There is also cabbage with a YUMMY sauce. AND...there is also a dipping sauce to die for. I would GREATLY appreciate it if anyone can share this recipe :D

I don't have the book but you could check with your local library. I have gone to Barnes & Noble book store and looked through that cookbook. I guess you could find it at a book store as well, then you could have access to the recipes you are looking for.

It's a great book. My favorite in fact. I think there was a thread just like this before. You might want to check the banana. Yes, many of the recipes are complicated, but many are NOT and you can just use components of the ones that are.
Plus it's absolutely gorgeous.

I love this book too. Even though I have made few recipes, it is beautiful book to have and I plan to do more , in time.

You don't need their book for the recipe -- it's available online: http://nymag.com/restaurants/articles/recipes/thaivegetablewraps.htm
Coincidentally, I had these wraps for dinner tonight! :D

Those look really wonderful! I may have to get the book.
That's the second time in just a few days that "Real Food Real World" had recipes for specific flavors I was looking for.
I'm on a hot spicey kick right now. This looks like it would fit right in.

I checked it out from the library, it was on a long waiting list, then I loved it so much I went ahead and bought it.
www.campusi.com has a search engine for the lowest prices.

Sarma just joined Greenchefs (www.greenchefs.tv or www.gliving.tv) with 9 of her fabulous recipes. For those of you who don't have the book, this is a great preview!

YES!!!
My favorite as far as pictures, and gourmet stuff, when I'm talking raw to people, I show them these pics.
I also love Alissa's book, when I want to convert someone, I make them something out of Alissa's book as they are more like the SAD foods people miss, the burgers, and enchiladas, raviolies, spaghetti etc.
The Raw food real world is great for show fancy shmancy stuff though.

I bought mine at Barnes & Noble. Great book, worth every penny.
Love it! One of my faves!

I just checked this book out from the library....the recipe i think you want is for spicy thai vegetable wraps and it is a really long recipe. If you can't get a copy of the book at the library, let me know and I'll type it out for you.
