Three questions about whole grains such as oats, wheat, quinoa, millet, spelt, etc...

1- Can whole grains be eaten raw, or must they be cooked to enjoy?

2- What is the effect of cooking whole grains?

3- What are ways to enjoy hot or warm whole grains while maintaining it as a raw food?

If any body knows the answers to the above three questions I would appreciate your input.

You can eat them raw,

the way we prepare them is to soak, then allow to sprout, then either use as is on cereals, or on sandwiches in recipes, or making crackers etc.

we warm them by placing in the dehydrator or in a warmed to finger warm soup, etc.

I make most of my savory foods then place in the dehydrator to warm, it makes them even more scrumptious

quinoa and millet are exceptionally easy to sprout and can be used as the base for a breakfast cerial.
Add fruit and nut milk.
