I've been using wonderful herbs in my raw dishes lately and am still keeping it fairly simple this way. Here are some recipes. I promise, this will satisfy your desire for savory stuff and is great for fall and winter:
Herb and Avocado Bliss
You'll need:
-Fresh-oregano, sage, basil, thyme, rosemary and tarragon
-avocado
-Tomato
Dice tomatoes and place in a bowl, Combine all other ingredients in a food processor with a couple tomato slices and a little water to get the blades moving. Scoop out this mixture and add in same bowl with the tomatoes. Add some thickly sliced avocado and mix it all together and it has a wonderful combination of strong, savory tastes. It is very rich so you won't need to make much to feel satisfied.
Rosemary Salsa Romaine Wraps:
You'll need:
-Fresh rosemary
-Yellow cherry tomatoes (or any kind of tomato)
-Cucumber
-Romaine lettuce
Combine tomatoes and rosemary in a food processor till it makes a nice salsa, Thinly slice a cucumber and set out your romaine leaves. Pour the salsa in a bowl and make a pile on your plate of the cucumber and the rosemary leaves. Put together your own wraps right before eating. Just take a romaine leaf and put a few slices of cucumber on it and then spoon on some of the rosemary salsa and fold and eat. Mmm, yummy!
These are all I've made so far but I'll post more when I create them.
