Does anyone have any experience with the new Vita-Prep? I saw it at Raw Food Advantage (http://rawfoodadvantage.com/blenders_and_dehydrators.html) for $495. Has anyone purchased anything from Raw Food Advantage? If so, what has your experience been?

I bought my BlendTec blender through them. (Actually through their eBay auction -- I got a better price.) They were very helpful... you can call anytime day or night with questions.

I have intentionally chosen not to buy from Raw Food Advantage. Although I'm certain he means well, and believes with his heart and soul in the raw lifestyle, he comes across as being rather militant. For example, he is a staunch opponent to juicing as he feels it is not good for one's health. Raw living is so much a part of who HE is, that I think he forgets others do not yet have the knowledge that he does, or may not necessarily agree with some of his ideas. He does seem to be readily available to answer questions, though.

I purchased my blender through www.vitalityplus1.com (a Blend Tec- I've had an older model VitaMix in the past- they're both great machines, I think). I got my Excalibur through www.rawguru.com. Both sites had exceptionally prompt delivery. (I don't mean to sound disloyal or disrespectful of Alyssa- I've purchased items from her, too, including her book, CD's, and have recommended these to others.)

Good Luck!
