Ive been 100% before for 3-4 weeks, and acne-wise Ive never been successful. Yet THIS time, after 1 week of all-organic raw, my acne has cleared (knock on wood).

Ive also stopped using abrasive soaps on my face, and I use only Dr. Bronners Orange Tea Tree Oil blahblah, and shea butter. Ive also switched to Burts Bees products predominately, though I will use Walgreens-bought powder/blush every other day or so because I feel bad throwing it away when there is still some left :( . (I know I know..but when youre a poor college student you feel guilty!)

Anyway..Im certain these latter changes have had a positive effect, but I think it truly may be going ORGANIC completely that has affected me the most positively.

...did that last sentence make sense? lol

yup! I had little skin colored bumps on my upper arm my whole life. They went away when I first went raw last summer. Most of that time I was in Australia so they don't have pesticides on their produce like the US does. Anyway, when I went raw this time I wasn't doing organic and the arm bumps returned. I just looked yesterday and they're gone again after going organic!

I have the arm bumps too... I have had them for as long as I can remember. I've eaten 100% organic my entire life, with the exception of the occasional dining out. Soo i'm not sure if they have to do with toxins or not. I asked my doctor about the bumps once, and she said it had to do with EFA's, but I eat lots of flax seeds ground into smoothies... so I'm not sure. Sorry to go slightly off topic, I just am perplexed by my arm bumps. Anyone have any ideas?

I do totally agree that 100% organic is the way to go. I notice an mild emotional reaction when I inadvertantly eat something non-organic. I feel kind of upset and tired.

I was looking for potential causes for cracked heals and found this on http://www.lacetoleather.com/crackedheels.html

Signs of omega-3 deficiency: cracks in your heels, flaky skin, dry hair, split or brittle nails, or bumpy skin on the back of your arms.

Don't know if it helps
