I made Alissas Pesto Mushrooms tonight for dinner, along with the Zesty (Zippy?) Tomato Soup. It was sooo yummy..the combination of garlic, onions, basil was all very good, and reminded me of a good TRUE Italian meal (from Italy, not the American-Italian ones loaded with cheese :p )

I made the raw applesauce for dessert..but I keep sneaking back to the fridge to pop another Pesto Mushroom, so I dunno if Ill even have ROOM for the applesauce tonight hehehe

Whatd you have for dinner??

:)

Yummy! That sounds good! Well, I made this, which I got the Philly Cheese Steak recipe from here, but I've nicknamed it Faux Filly Cheeze Stake.
One bit of advice - eat your fruits BEFORE your main meal. Fruits go through you system in 20 minutes, so if you eat them first, then your main meal, you won't have your fruit sitting on top of your meal fermenting and causing a maybe sour stomach, gas or other ugly body functions. I always eat fruit BEFORE any other foods. Another yummy meal I like to fix is the Angel hair pasta and marinara. It is THE BEST marinara I have EVER tasted! Every recipe from Alissa's book is wonderful!!!

Hello!

My dinner tonight was more like a snack as I couldn't figure out what I wanted, or what to make.

I ended up with a few simple things like:

A banana wrapped in kale, and ants on a log(about 5 of them). It was simple and satisfying.

Pizza and peppermint patties is what I had for dinner. Oh and dessert was bacon.

Now, if I could just figure out a substitute for eggs, grits and hashbrowns, to go with my eggplant bacon I would have it made. Any Ideas

Last night for dinner I had a guacomole salad and flaxseed crackers. For dessert I had a banana-strawberry date smoothie.

Gelis- Raw priestess has a breakfast book you can buy on her website or on ebay that has substitutes for eggs and stuff.

Thanks Lay Lay, I cringed after I posted that message cause I realized I mentioned the egg word and didn't want to cause problems
